1957 Our company has been created in Suresnes by PHILIPS ELECTRONIC, under the name SODERN (Société Anonyme d’Etudes & Réalisations Nucléaires) to market THERMOCOAX branded products to the Nuclear industry.
1962 Opening of the Planquivon plant in Normandy
1982 The company was renamed THERMOCOAX SAS.
Early 90’s In addition to the Nuclear, the ADS (Aeronautics, Defence & Space) market is approached.
1998 THERMOCOAX was sold out by PHILIPS and took the decision to diversify its business in new additional high tech market sectors, Semiconductors, Analytical and Power Generation (Turbines).
2000 Management Buy Out by Chequers Capital.
